• Third Party Inspection (TPI) is one of the potential business areas of the REC Power Distribution Company Limited (RECPDCL). The activity involves an independent quality and quantity inspection of distribution net-work. Projects like Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana, Feeder Renovation Programme, Feeder Bifurcation, High Voltage Distribution, System Improvement etc. are covered under this category.


• RECPDCL has pan India presence for TPI Projects. At present RECPDCL is working on 56 projects in 26 Discoms & 4 RE Co-operative Societies spread in 19 states in the country. These include - Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Manipur, Meghalaya, Karnataka, Uttrakhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Andhra Pradesh. The entire work is being executed by 26 Power Distribution Companies called Discoms in various projects.


• Quality Bench Mark- RECPDCL has set up its own internal control mechanism to ensure sustainability of quality and for the purpose uses electronic gadgets like GPS, Opti-Logic and Digital camera, Laptops etc.


• Assured by the quality of reports and the bench mark established by RECPDCL, its reports have been widely appreciated and repeat orders have been given to it.
